The prayers provided here were mostly written as Prayers-Of-The-People for the Lara Uniting Church, Australia. As such they have a certain Christian tone and naturally reference the Christian faith. This may not preclude their use by other faiths but I make no false promises. Also, they are not always simply an appeal for peace, although I believe that to be their essential message.
